Hallo Herbst, goodbye Summer. Kaum sieht man sich um und schon ist der Sommer fast vorbei und es wird langsam wieder früher dunkel und kalt draußen. So schön der Sommer dieses Jahr war, freue ich mich jetzt auch wieder auf die herbstliche Jahreszeit. Dieses Jahr besonders bereichert mit viel neuer Musik. Seit gespannt!
Neue Musik im Juli & August 2021
Wie am Beginn eines jeden neuen Monats, möchte ich jetzt hier nochmal auf die beiden vergangenen Monate zurückschauen und einige Alben-Highlights vorstellen.
Von Drake oder Kendrick Lamar gab es im Sommer zwar noch keine neuen Alben, aber man ist als Musik-Fan dennoch auf seine Kosten gekommen. Kanye West hat uns mit seinen „DONDA Listening Parties“ fast wöchentlich auf Trab gehalten und auch sonst gab wieder einiges an neuer Musik. Zum Beispiel neue Platten von John Mayer, Leon Bridges, OneRepublic, Lorde, Pop Smoke, Billie Eilish oder Big Red Machine und noch vielen mehr.
Und jetzt weiter zum Haupteil des Beitrags: Dem Release Kalender für September, Okober und die beiden Monate werden es in sich haben. Am ersten Freitag im September starten wir gleich mit einem echten Hightlight: „Certified Lover Boy“, dem lang erwarteten 6. Studio Album von Drake, das am 3.9 endlich erscheint. Und noch viele mehr:
