Hello März, hello Spring. Kaum versieht man sich und schon sind die ersten beiden Monate des Jahres vorbei. Die hatten es auch durchaus in sich mit sehr viel guter neuer Musik.
Im Vergleich zu den eher schwachen ersten Monaten in 2021, ging es im Januar und Februar 2022 gleich zur Sache. Gestartet ist das Jahr mit neuen Alben von The Weeknd und Gunna im Januar. Darauf folgte dann im Februar neue Musik von Kanye West, Gang of Youths und EARTHGANG. Und auch der März geht genauso weiter…
Doch bevor wir uns den kommenden Monaten widmen, gibt es wie immer noch einen kurzen Rückblick.
Besten Alben im Januar und Februar 2022
Wie oben bereits erwähnt, war der Start ins Jahr sehr ereignisreich. Die erste Januar Woche begann gleich mit neuen Alben von The Weeknd und Gunna. Danach gab es die Rückkehr von Flume, ODESZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers und Portugal. The Man, die alle samt neue Musik bzw. Alben angekündigt haben.
Ein weiteres Highlight war sicher auch der Superbowl, bei dessen Halftime Show Hip-Hop Legenden wie Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar und Snoop Dogg aufgetreten sind. Neue Musik gab es seither nur von Snoop, aber die anderen 3 Folgen sicher auch bald.
